Functional Literacy and Numeracy

All organisations can improve performance through considering the reading, writing, English-speaking and mathematical abilities of their workforce.

There are many initiatives supporting the concept of these ‘skills for life’ that help individuals and organisations to reach their full potential. WAMITAB (Waste Management Industry Training and Advisory Board) have been successful in raising awareness of and support for these ‘skills for life’ for the waste sector.
